Howdy folks,
While winter has not quite relinquished its grip on the northeast I was able to attend my first CAS match this past weekend, April7th, at the Harvard Ghost Riders in Harvard MA. It was a pretty chilly morning with a strong breeze so it was fairly uncomfortable for the first few hours until it warmed up a bit. Turnout was great at 47 shooters and a good time was had by all.
It was a banner day for me because I was able to score my first ever clean match! A match is deemed “clean” if you have no misses and no penalties. I’ve been close before but always seem to mess it up during the last stage, thankfully no so that day.
I’m looking forward to attending quite a few matches this year and feel like I’m off to a good start.
