DIY Gun Vise

Update 12/22/2011:

Spent a half hour and made a simple gun vise.  This was long overdue.  Very simple and basic construction.  A base board, a wood screw clamp, some scraps and some rubber to line the contact points.

Cj, thanks. Not sure what you mean by slots. I used an old wood clamp like this and ran the rear screw through a hole drilled in the upright piece of wood to form the pivot point.

Very nice….how did you make the slots in the wood clamp and did you use a carriage bolt?
